Chicago Motor Show 2013: Nissan GT-R Track Edition 2014

In Chicago, Nissan will present their second model of the GT-R model year 2014. The car in case if the Nissan GT-R Track Edition which is possible to inprove the performance of this living legend. To make this car more exclusive, only 150 copies will be build, and sold in the United States only, so Americans, make your decision quickly!

The Track Edition is the third model of the GT-R 2014, introduced next to the Premium and Black Edition. This particular model is specially developed for drivers who want to push the car to the limit on the track. The only thing we worry about is that drivers possibly will only find their own limit instead of the cars’ limit! Nissan did no modifications to the V6-engine which is 550 bhp strong. Other aspects, which are as important did change, to improve both the performance and the driving experience. The cars’ chassis is tuned and specifically designed on the Nürburgring by test driver Toshio Suzuki. Further this model has special air vents for the brakes and a front spoiler with carbon fiber air intakes. In the interior a quite radical change took place, the deletion of the rear seats.

It might be a radical change, but not the only change. The seats are upholstered with a special kind of leather with more grip, to keep you in place rock steady when driving on the track. The leather is coloured blue and also looks more sporty than the normal seats do. A central placed tachometer, red starting button and many carbon fiber details make this car into the ultimate Ringtool. The only thing you have to do is choose a colour: Deep Blue Pearl, Jet Black, Solid Red, Gun Metallic and White.
