2014 KIA Cadenza sedan

2014 KIA Cadenza sedan

The 2014 Kia Cadenza serves as a reminder of how far the automaker has come since the releases of the Sephia and Sportage in the U.S.

Kia looks to retain Optima SX Limited fans with the addition of the Cadenza that is chock-full of premium options and a more powerful powertrain.
Adaptive cruise control, 12-speaker sound system, panoramic sunroof and a power rear sunshade are just some of the top-level options for the 2014 Cadenza.
Heated front and rear seats, Nappa leather seats and a ventilated driver's seat with memory functionality are also available on Kia's new sedan.

nd the 2014 Cadenza will also feature a six-cylinder engine which means it is the only sedan on the auto maker's line to feature a V6 in the U.S.

The 3.3-liter six-cylinder engine offers up 293 ponies at 6,400 rpm and 255 pound-feet of torque at 5,200 rpm.
Fuel efficiency for a six-speed automatic, that is expected to use the same engine and transmission as the 2013 Azera, is estimated to be around an EPA-rated 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
A technology package is also available for the new sedan that includes adaptive cruise control that has the ability to engage a complete stop, electronic parking brake, lane departure and blind spot monitoring systems and a special windshield that repels water.

Nineteen-inch wheels will also be available with the Technology package as opposed to the standard 18-inch alloy rims.
The 2014 Cadenza debuted at the Detroit auto show in January and is expected to go on sale in the second quarter of 2013 with an estimated base price around $34,000.
